APPLICATION CODE: CIVIC SPACE 2025 – Alumni Internship Application

 

Civic Space is recruiting one (1) intern to join its team for a summer internship. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to actively contribute to Civic Space’s ongoing initiatives and gain hands-on experience in the field of civil society support and development.

 

Key Responsibilities

1. Mailchimp Management
Organise and categorise email campaigns within the Mailchimp platform
Assist in creating and scheduling email newsletters

2. Administrative Support
Provide administrative assistance to the department, including data entry, filing, and document management
Assist in organising and maintaining office records and documentation

3. Office Support
Assist in coordinating office supplies and equipment maintenance

 

 

Candidate Profile

Being an EUSP alumni from one of the past three academic years (2022/23, 2023/24, or 2024/25) — applications from non-alumni will not be considered

Currently enrolled in a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree programme, or a recent graduate. Preferably in Communications, Public Relations and Advertising, Business Administration, Information and Records Management, International Relations, Marketing, Sociology, or similar fields

Strong organisational skills and keen attention to detail

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Basic understanding of email marketing tools; experience with Mailchimp is an asset

Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both Turkish and English

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a positive attitude

Self-motivated and open to learning, with a strong commitment to professional and personal growth.

Internship Period & Conditions

Internship period: Minimum two months within late June, July, and August 2025

Working hours: 20 hours per week

Location: Civic Space Office, Nicosia

Remuneration: This is a paid internship

Certificate: Official “EU Scholarship Programme Internship Completion Certificate” upon completion.
