The EU Scholarship Programme for the Turkish Cypriot community has been providing opportunities in the EU member states for education and professional development since 2007. The Programme is not only directly benefitting the participants through skills and knowledge development but also indirectly contributing to the economic development of the Turkish Cypriot community.
Given the change in the demand for skills in the labour market due to both global and local developments, an assessment needed to be made to identify the skills gap in the Turkish Cypriot economy and in global job markets that would be utilized in the EU Scholarship Programme for the Turkish Cypriot community.
In this respect, the Skills Gap Analysis report employs a multi-level analysis of the skills needs, reviewing not only the global trends to understand what kind of hard and soft skills are in need today and will be needed soon but also analyzing the local level skills needs.
You can access the Skills Gap Analysis report prepared by the EU Scholarshıp Programme for the Turkish Cypriot community in consultation with the Programme stakeholders in both Turkish and English through the button below.
